Chris Clark - CC Rides Again (Weed 801) 1969
Chris Clark Rides Again a late Sixties outting which found the singer altering her image a bit by covering rock and pop tunes. The album was different from what Motown was hitting with at the time, and yet very much in the company style.
CC Rider was released on the Weed label. Weed was a Motown label. Chris' album "C.C. Rides Again" was the only album issued on Weed. Weed's slogan was 'All your favorite artists are on Weed.'

Love the orchestral intros. "Can I See You..." and "How About You" are lovely tracks that would have made great singles.
